Joe Tinker Chicago Cubs Baseball Card Portrait 2 — a dead-ball era portrait of the shortstop immortalized in Franklin Adams' lament "Tinker to Evers to Chance," rendered with the steady gaze of a man who anchored the infield of those imperious 1907 and 1908 Cubs. The cardstock carries that particular West Side Grounds gravity, when Chicago played for pennants and the double play was something close to poetry.
